Geographical Profile
Nagbukel is situated approximately 38 kilometers from the provincial capital, Vigan City. Its name comes from the Ilocano word “nagbukel” (round), referring to the round shape of the hills that define its landscape.
Terrain: Characterized by rolling hills, towering peaks, and lush agricultural plains.
Borders: Formerly a part of Narvacan, Nagbukel is bordered by its parent municipality and other neighboring towns in the upland second district.
Climate: Tropical with distinct wet and dry seasons, supporting a primary economy of rice, tobacco, and upland crops.
