The month of March kicked off with the First Monday Program, attended by Municipal Officials, Municipal Employees, DepEd Heads, and Barangay Officials. Hosted by the Department of Education, the event took place today, March 2, 2026, at the Municipal Gymnasium, aiming to strengthen coordination among local offices as the year progresses.

The program opened with welcome remarks from Dr. Nelia Diga, Principal 1 of Nagbukel National High School, who emphasized the importance of education as a foundation for community progress and highlighted the value of cooperation among public servants in achieving the municipality’s goals.

Following this, department heads and office representatives shared updates on ongoing initiatives and projects within their respective offices, highlighting key accomplishments and future plans. Participants also heard from members of the Sangguniang Bayan, who provided updates on their committees’ activities and important developments affecting the municipality.

Additionally, Franz Leo C. Cabrera, President of the Liga ng mga Barangay SK Federation, delivered reports and messages emphasizing youth engagement and community programs across the municipality.

A major highlight of the program was the presentation by Joselito Racca, Municipal Local Government Operations Officer, who shared essential reminders and updates for both officials and employees, ensuring alignment with current local government directives.

The program was further enlivened by a special intermission performance organized by the Department of Education.

The event concluded with closing remarks from Municipal Mayor Hon. Randolf John C. Cabrera, who expressed appreciation for the dedication of all attendees in public service and reminded everyone about the programs and activities planned for the upcoming Town Fiesta 2026.
